White Kite Studio was born from two quiet pursuits: birding and pottery. For Grace, spending a morning at the wheel and spending a weekend in the swamp searching for a new bird are not so different — both require stillness, attention, and a deep love for the natural world.

Grace works with porcelain and a recycled clay she makes herself out of studio trimmings. All pieces are glazed and fired at her studio in the Bywater.

Grace hopes that reaching for a colorful cup in the morning or setting a handmade plate on the table sparks a moment of awe or a quiet reminder of the beauty that exists just outside the door. Maybe even an urge to go look for some birds!
